Hi! My name is Annabel and I'm the Personal Trainer behind Sweaty Beast Fitness.

​

I'm a Level 3 qualified Gym Instructor and Personal Trainer, with a further L3 qualification in Adapting Exercise for Ante & Postnatal Clients and certification in Padwork for Small Groups.  I am also Level 3 trained in Emergency First Aid. 

​

I believe that being fit and healthy should be central to your everyday life - involving both what you do with your body (exercise & rest) and also what you put into it (hydration & nutrition). As your personal trainer I can work with you on both!

 

My role is to help you achieve your fitness goals by providing an appropriately challenging and progressive programme to enable you to work towards this effectively. I plan for your personalised goals - whether you want to get stronger, leaner, reduce body fat, gain muscle, improve CV fitness, train for an event or have another goal in mind. I ensure you have consistency, challenge and variation to build towards the results you want. I guarantee you will leave fitter, stronger and more confident!

 

My training methods are rooted in developing functional fitness and include a combination of strength, cardio and core training, in line with your specific goals. As well as achieving your fitness objectives our training will also ensure you will be strong and fit for everyday life.

If you live in the Balham area I offer training outdoor on Tooting Common or at your home if you have a suitable space. I provide everything for your session including barbells, dumbbells, battle rope, slam balls, kettlebells, resistance bands and a variety of other portable gym equipment. You will need to provide your own mat.

I also offer personal training at the Brixton Recreation Centre Gym where you will need to be a member to enter after your first trial session.

 

Sessions are available on a 1-to-1 and 1-to-2 basis. The session-only options  give you a personalised programme of sessions tailored to your specific goals. You will also receive guidance on nutrition as this is as important as physical exercise in being able to train effectively and maintain a healthy lifestyle. I will also offer advice and some guidance on how to maintain your fitness routine between sessions.

If you are looking for a more complete approach to your fitness regime I also offer online plans which will fill the gaps in your training between sessions. I programme workouts for you to follow in your own time, either at home or at the gym, delivered through an easy to use app. This is a great add-on option if you require more direction and structure to your routine between PT sessions, and is currently being offered to clients who are signed up to in-person training.

As part of your trial session you will receive a free consultation (approx 20 mins) to discuss your goals, expectations and other areas relevant to your training, such as any metrics we will track relevant to your goals. Tracking results is an effective way to monitor progress, helps to keep up motivation and provides specific information for planning the next phase of your programme.
